Privacy Policy

1. The Architecture Is the Policy

Motion Design Ads is a client-side web application. All processing — including video rendering — happens locally in your browser. There is no server-side component that receives your data.

This isn't a promise — it's a technical architecture. You can verify it yourself by opening your browser's Network tab while using the application.

2. What We Store Locally

The following data is stored in your browser's IndexedDB (on your device only):

• Your projects (elements, keyframes, settings)
• Imported assets (images stored as binary blobs)
• Brand kits (colors, fonts, logos)
• Saved templates
• Your license key (for activation verification)

This data never leaves your browser. We cannot access it.

3. Network Requests

The application makes exactly one type of network request:

• License validation: When you activate your license key, the app sends the key to our payment provider (LemonSqueezy) to verify it's valid. This request contains only the license key — no project data, no usage information, no device identifiers.

After activation, the app works fully offline. No further network requests are made.

4. What We Don't Collect

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No error reporting or crash logs
• No device fingerprinting
• No cookies (beyond what your browser manages locally)
• No telemetry of any kind

5. Marketing Website

This marketing website (the page you're on) is a static HTML page. It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Payment Processing

Payments are handled by LemonSqueezy. When you purchase, your payment information is processed by LemonSqueezy — we never see or store your credit card details. LemonSqueezy's privacy policy governs that transaction.

7. Data Portability

You can export your projects as JSON files at any time using the Export feature. Your data is yours — you can back it up, move it between browsers, or delete it entirely by clearing your browser's IndexedDB storage.

8. Children's Privacy

Motion Design Ads is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Since we don't collect email addresses through the app, changes will be posted here.
